Biography
Senior Editor for Urban Times Built Section. I am a planner by trade and an advocate for community-oriented urbanism. My interests include urban planning, small-scale agriculture, ecology, sustainability, geographic information systems, and sociology. I live in Asheville, NC with my wife and daughters.
My Urban Times Story
I originally came upon Urban Times while deployed to Iraq in 2010. I was instantly captivated by the focus on a more positive spin on world events and the opportunities for change. I am excited to work with Urban Times and to assist with generating new conversations about the built environment.
