Last week I heard that only 1% of all fashion is Eco Fashion. That can’t be true. I don’t know who found that out. Here’s some questions to ask the “Eco Friendly”. Have you even worn hemp ? Do you have any organic cotton ? Have you ever bought at a thrift store ? Do you wear vintage? Did you meet the person who made your shirt ?
Look in your closet. Everything in it should be a special something. If you don’t wear it, you could trade with a friend.
Look in your closet. Everything in it should be a special something. If you don’t wear it, you could trade with a friend. Here’s what I’d like you to do. Next time you go shopping buy less, pay slightly more and get something organic. If you are paying $300.00 USD for a dress to go to a fabulous party, be sure it is fair trade. It’s your money you should have say.
We can make the difference with just a few simple changes. I know it will make you feel better about yourself. We can stop supporting things that are hurting us & the Planet. In today’s world it is hard to know what’s green. All I ask is for you to try. You will become more aware as time go by. When more of us pull together we can make a bigger difference. Can you imagine if we grow to 10% Eco ? 20% ? on up. My goal is 100% .I want all Fashion to be Eco Fashion. Care what you wear.
Here’s a real nice thing about Eco Fashion Companies ,we are all working towards a common goal. No matter which of the great ethical companies you choose to buy from it’s good for all of us. How can we track the switch ? I don’t know, but I if someone says it’s only 1% perhaps they work for a company that isn’t green . We can find out for ourselves. Talk to your friends. I have seem much more awareness in the time I’ve been selling Green Clothes. Everyday someone new goes green. It will be exciting to watch.
