Timelapse of the City of London

From the London Eye to Big Ben and Buckingham Palace, the city of London has many unique architectural landmarks offering attractions for every visitor, regardless of where they come from. The city is in many ways the cradle of modern urbanisation, as many worldwide cities were developed following London’s infrastructural example.

In this video titled “A momentary lapse of London” director Davide Roveri expresses the significance of the city by capturing various memorable spots of London. He claims that although the city was not admired by him initially, spending more time in Britain’s capital left him with a deep sense of inspiration as he “experienced that beautiful sensation of feeling like home.” This is his way of documenting his gratitude towards the renowned city.
