Flowers Opening in Timelapse

How can something so simple and common as the opening of a flower be so beautiful? Well of course that’s an entirely subjective question.

But when you take over 7100 photos – shot over 730 hours using a Canon 5D Mark II (the prosumer’s go-to timelapse machine) – of flowers like the Amaryllis, Lilly, Zygocactus, Rose, Gladiolus and Gardenia, then you have a very clear answer to that question.
