Last week we brought you five articles on The Future of the City, in partnership with design mind: a media platform examining trends in emerging technologies and global consumer culture, produced by designers, technologists, and strategists at frog. This week we are featuring video content from the same series.

In this video, the future city is imagined as a digital overlay superimposed onto the physical world, providing us with a wealth of real-time information about the objects and processes surrounding us.

The integration of hardware, software and personal computing is leading us towards an urban environment which is a seamless hybrid of the digital and physical.
